Critical Miss Forums For the discussion of Critical Miss magazine, the "works" (such as they are) of Jonny Nexus, gaming, and life in general. The idea is for this to be a nice friendly board and as long as no-one acts like a twat it will hopefully stay that way.

Just bought myself the WHFRP book, so I re-read this article, purely because it's the only hamster roleplaying stuff I'd ever seen before last friday. I realise it's not an ideal example of how to run a game.
But I noticed something Jonny mentioned about the rules, and perhaps someone can clear it up for me. In that version of the rules, there was apparently a system for giving characters a bit of personal history before they start the game. This feature seems to be missing in my version of the rulebook (or rather, it is there, but only as a very watery "Players should think about their characters' pasts). Is this something they've taken out, or was that an unofficial addition to begin with.
And while I have the attention of veterans to this system, is there anything else I should know? _________________ -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK-----
