So does anyone have an archive for the "Skarka Clone Wars" threads? I'd love to read them sometime.

So would I if anyone's got them (especially the John the Baptist quote, which is probably the best forum post I've ever read). Smile

Yes.

The thread was pulled, but later the admins brought it back for all to see. You have to be registered on RPG.net to see it, but for those that are, it's here.

Wow. A brilliant illustration that the primary purpose of Troll is to make your main opponent look like a right tit. I especially liked the orginal Skarka's 'my name is my trademark as I am teh famous writ0r' spiel.

Ok, I went through every page of the thread. I didn't read the whole thing, but I searched on each page for the word "baptist" and didn't find it. What is the John the Baptist quote?

Maybe I'm misremembering it wrongly. I'm not a member of RPGNet anymore, so I can't see the thread.

I've had a self-imposed exile of RPG.net so I cannot view the thread either.

its a storm in a tea-cup. its interesting to see GMS Wars being fueled by other posters.

its ends a little limp, mostly because is fizzles out, but mostly because GMS stops posting, and the other Posters kept churning it out.

the tea-cup reference is because as far as I know GMS has posted to RPG.net for ages. this thread dates from 2002!

Or I remember you saying in the article that the war spread through many threads. I can only find the one main one there, perhaps the baptist quote was not in the one resurrected for a laugh.
